Cluster meeting: A step towards EMJM programmes – multi-disciplinary/inter-disciplinary approach developed within Erasmus+ projects as a potential of further exploitation

Today, at the premises of the University of Montenegro Rectorate, a cluster meeting was organized entitled “A Step to EMJM Programs: An Interdisciplinary/Multidisciplinary Approach Developed in the Framework of the Erasmus+ Project as a Potential for Further Growth.”

The meeting gathered diverse projects for building capacities in higher education and Jean Monnet action that developed and reformed study programs with an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach.

Except for the presentation of the importance of the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary character of study programs developed through Erasmus+ and the opportunity to create project synergies, the key goal of the meeting was also a deliberation of opportunities, relevancy, and challenges of accreditation for those studying programs to be further developed in joint graduate programs in the framework of EMJM and EMDM.

The meeting was opened by Prof. Sanja Peković, the vice chancellor for international cooperation at UCG; Vanja Drljević, director of the Erasmus+ national office; and Prof. Nedeljko Latinović, coordinator of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies at UCG. Ljiljana Gogić, from the National Erasmus+ office, spoke about opportunities for the participation of Montenegrin higher education institutions in Erasmus Mundus action.
