In the organization of the National Agency of the Republic of France for EU programs, from June 16 to 19, 2025, a series of sessions was organized with all the countries of the Western Balkans, beneficiaries of the Erasmus+ program.
On the occasion, on June 19, an online session was organized for the networking of institutions from Montenegro and institutions from France in the part of cooperation related to higher education.
Head of the National Erasmus+ office, Vanja Drljević, presented the education system, the current cooperation between Montenegro and France regarding capacity building projects, international credit mobility, as well as France’s participation in capacity building projects in the field of vocational education and training. Special attention was given on future cooperation in terms of potential areas for cooperation, as well as further work on strengthening the Ulysseus Alliance, and strengthening the capacity of the Cyber Center through programmes such as Erasmus+.
It was concluded that the mobility of teaching staff and students could be on a higher level, as well as practices, which will be worked on in the coming period.
Laurence Levaudel Clauss also addressed the audience and gave an insight into the support that the Republic of France provides to Montenegro, such as the establishment of a regional Cyber Capacity center.
Srđan Redžepagić, Head of BISI, University of the French Riviera, spoke about the cooperation of UCG with the University of the Cote d’Azur, and how the mentioned cooperation led to the formation of BISI, and later to UCG’s membership in the European Alliance of Universities.
