The panel discussion “Challenges and Importance of Internationalization in the field of Higher Education” has been organized today, at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts. The panel discussion was organized by the MASA Center of Young Scientists and Artists, as the first activity in a series of activities organized by the Center in this academic year.
The meeting was opened by the academician Ljubiša Stanković, Vice-President of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, who gave an introduction speech on the importance of internationalization, while the panelists were Dr Sanja Damjanović, the Minister of Science, who gave a presentation on the topic “The Global Knowledge Network – a manner of a successful work in the field of Higher Education”; Dolly Predović, Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Milan and the Executive Director of the Career Paths, who, during her speech, emphasized the importance of the skills development for the global world; prof. Zoran Đikanović (the University of Donja Gorica), who talked about the importance of the internationalization process at universities, with a special emphasis on the establishment of cooperation with China; Vanja Drljević, the Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro, who gave a speech on the topic “EU Support to the Internationalisation of Higher Education in Montenegro” as well as Dr. Nela Milošević from the Center of Young Scientists and Artists, who talked about the importance of international experience for personal and professional development.
