„Europe Month through the Erasmus+ programme” – “Success stories: Experiences of beneficiaries in the field of vocational education and training”

We are pleased to inform you that the National Erasmus+ office in Montenegro organized the third and also the last in a series of activities within the “Europe Month through the Erasmus+ program” at the premises of secondary vocational school “Ivan Uskoković”.

A separate activity “Success stories: Experiences of beneficiaries in the field of vocational education and training” is aimed at presenting the results of Montenegro in the field of vocational education and training within the Erasmus+ program.  “Our secondary vocational schools showed great interest in these programs and as a result, a new Call was opened.  This program will provide schools with greater internationalization and the opportunity for young people, that is, students and teaching staff to use the mobility program in order to exchange experiences and practices with their colleagues and bring some innovations in terms of methodology but also new subjects, acquire new knowledge, and later be competitive at the labor market, said Vanja Drljević, Head of National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro.

Duško Rajković, director of the Center for Vocational Education, pointed out that the Erasmus+ programs were an exceptional opportunity that opens up new horizons to young people and introduces them to new opportunities.  “In the period to come, we will put additional efforts to motivate the management of all secondary vocational schools to use these programs, apply for future Calls and get involved.”

Sonja Dabetić, director of “Ivan Uskoković” emphasized the importance of the participation of secondary vocational schools in the Erasmus+ program and encouraged all relevant participants to take part in the upcoming period.

On this occasion, the students of “Danilo Kiš” and “Ivan Uskoković” shared their experiences of participating in the Erasmus+ program with other pupils form Montenegrin secondary vocational schools.
