The Cluster meeting of the local coordinators of the newly selected Erasmus+ CB HE projects

The Cluster meeting of the newly selected Erasmus+ Capacity Building Higher Education (CB HE) projects (Call for proposals 2019), was held today at the Rectorate building of the University of Montenegro.

The meeting aimed to present the new projects before the start of the implementation, as well as to discuss possible challenges and obstacles for their implementation. The meeting also served as an occasion to discuss the funding rules relating to the aforementioned projects, i.e. project and financial management.

When it comes to the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ programme “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education”, a total number of 9 projects in which Montenegrin higher education institutions participate, were selected for funding within the Erasmus+ Call for proposals 2019. Higher education institutions from Montenegro are the coordinators of 3 projects, while in the remaining projects, institutions from Montenegro participate as partners, which is a record number when it comes to Montenegrin universities’ participation in the Erasmus+ programme so far.

Therefore, organization of this meeting was of great importance to the local coordinators of the projects, since, for the first time, the aims and expected results of the projects were presented at local level, but, at the same time, the steps that are important to undertake at the very beginning of the projects’ implementation, aimed at facilitating the further implementation of the newly selected projects, were defined.
In addition to the local project coordinators, the meeting was attended by representatives of the management of the higher education institutions, as well as non-academic partners taking part in the projects’ implementation.

On the occasion, the Erasmus+ Information Day, which will be held on November 18, 2019 at the premises of the Rectorate building of the University of Montenegro, aimed at presenting the new Call for proposals and informing the public of the results achieved by Montenegro through participation in the Erasmus + programme, the biggest European Union programme in the field of education, was announced.
