The total requested funding for these 147 proposals is €131.188.239,86, from the total available budget of €131.470.000, meaning that only 0,2% remains unspent, which is nevertheless transferrable to the next Call to be published in September-October 2016.
The Call for Proposals for Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education was published in the Official Journal of the EU on 20 October 2015. In total, 736 proposals were submitted (43% as compared to 2015) of which 517 by Programme Countries (70.2%) and 219 by Partner Countries (29.8%). Of the 180 countries eligible, including for the first time the ACP countries, 135 are present in the submitted applications (32 of the 33 Programme Countries, and 103 of the 147 eligible Partner Countries) and all regions (in terms of financial instruments) are covered.
