Cluster meeting of the Erasmus+ and Tempus projects in the field of curriculum development

Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro organized a meeting at the University of Montenegro, bringing together coordinators of the Erasmus+ and Tempus projects, focusing on curriculum development.
The meeting was opened by the Rector of the University of Montenegro, Prof. Danilo Nikolić, and on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of these projects in the field of higher education, as well as modernization of the higher education system in Montenegro.
The meeting was attended by Giulia Moro, project officer of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) from Brussels, representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro, as well as the coordinators of 14 projects. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the newly established Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
EACEA project officer to Montenegro, Ms. Giulia Moro, emphasized that a number of Erasmus+ and Tempus projects were focused on curriculum development, therefore the European Commission pays special attention to the implementation of this type of projects.
The meeting aimed to examine the results of Erasmus+ and Tempus projects, their impact on the higher education system, as well as to discuss the problems encountered during the implementation of the projects. A special attention was paid to the sustainability of the projects. Members of the national Higher Education Reform Experts team (HERE team), Prof. Mira Vukčević and Prof. Jelena Knežević moderated sessions dedicated to the challenges occurring when implementing projects.
The meeting was also dedicated to examination of the overall impact of the projects on the higher education system in Montenegro, and a number of recommendations facilitating the implementation of ongoing projects and future projects were made.
