Today, an Erasmus+ Information Day dedicated to opportunities for Montenegrin participation in the open Call for proposals for Capacity Building in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET) was held at the premises of the Secondary vocational school of economics “Mirko Vešović” in Podgorica.
In the opening part of the event, the attendees were addressed by Dijana Vujačić, Director of the Secondary vocational school of economics “Mirko Vešović”; Vanja Drljević, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office and Marija Gošović, Director of the Directorate for General and Secondary Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro.
Participants had the opportunity to become familiar with the results achieved by Montenegro so far, presented by Vanja Drljević, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office, as well as with the novelties of the open call, the rules and procedures for submitting project proposals, presented by Ljiljana Gogić from the National Erasmus+ Office.
The event also provided an opportunity for the exchange of experiences among representatives of the Center for Vocational Education of Montenegro and secondary vocational schools from Montenegro (“Ivan Uskoković”, “Marko Radević”, vocational school Nikšić) that are participating in projects, as well as for strengthening local networking among institutions.
As already mentioned, the Info Day was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro, the Center for Vocational Education and secondary vocational schools. The event also served as an opportunity to promote the EPALE and eTwinning networks and to discuss the support available to secondary vocational schools through these networks.
